The contest for “best singer/songwriter of the Netherlands” on Dutch national television is producing some killer acoustic songs. Watch some of them here by clicking “read more”.
The tv show, brought to life by radio host Giel Beelen, started a few weeks ago. Every week the seven final contestants get a theme to write a song about, for which the winner of the week wins a prize.
The challenge for this week was to write a love song and play it in front of a crowd AND the one you wrote the song for. Contestants Rogier Pelgrim and Douwe Bob Posthuma had amazing songs, written for Pelgrim’s girlfriend and Posthuma’s father.
