The Get Up Kids frontman Matt Pryor will be releasing his live album “Nine Forty Live” on December 9 through Rory Records, a division of Equal Vision Records. The live recording features solo songs and songs written with The New Amsterdams.
“Nine Forty Live” was recorded in January in his hometown Lawrence at the Lawrence Arts Center. It might turn out to be Pryor’s only live album ever: “I’ve been trying to make this mini-orchestra show happen for about eight years. I love how it turned out but I don’t think I’ll ever do it again. It’s a logistical nightmare. Good thing we got it on tape.”
