Fake Problems front man and punk legend extraordinaire Chris Farren will be releasing a Record Store Day seven-inch split with Tim Kasher. For more information, please continue to read.
The two artists each wrote a song, sent just the chords and lyrics to each other and recorded their own versions of the songs, without ever actually hearing the original. The vinyl single will therefore contain two completely different versions of two songs. To quote Farren, it is “without a doubt, the coolest thing that has ever happened” to him.
The Chris Farren/Tim Kasher 7″ split will be released by Saddle Creek Records, the home of Kasher’s records.
Record Store Day will be on April 18 this year.
