Votolato’s eighth solo album is out today (April 17) on Glitterhouse Records and in America through No Sleep Records on April 21. It is produced by ex-Death Cab For Cutie guitarist Chris Walla.
Votolato to Billboard on his new record:
"This is the most exciting creative project I've been a part of in nearly a decade. I knew I needed to push some boundaries and reinvent things for myself to keep it interesting. It feels urgent and impulsive to me and I'm glad I was able to find people to work with that I trusted and embrace a real spirit of collaboration. It was really important to me not to overthink things on this record. I'm really happy with how it turned out and with the energy that we captured on it."
