The artist formerly known as Lost On Campus: we’re talking about Rob Lynch, our second UnPlugging. The London based singer/songwriter recently changed his artist name to the name written on his passport. As Lost On Campus, Lynch released two EP’s of easy acoustic pop/indie. Nowadays, he is folk-bound.
Nevertheless, both of his projects have appeal. In October 2011, he released his ‘first’ self-titled EP. Lynch shot videos for two of those songs. With performances throughout England and Europe he is well on the way on becoming the next best thing. He’s already compared to Frank Turner, just to name one. And indeed, though musically there are many differences, Lynches lyrics have the same poetic depth as Turners songs. Just listen to “Hawking” below, and you will know why.
