The stitched doll of Joey Cape‘s daughter Violet has come to life in Caper’s newest video, “This Life is Stange“. The song is taken from his upcoming album “Stitch Puppy“, which is coming out September 4. For more information and to watch the video, please read on.
The stop-motion video, directed by the punk singer, features Cape crawling in the skin of his daughter stitched doll, eventually playing the song with his band dressed up alike.
“Stitch Puppy” – named after Violet Cape’s handmade doll – follows Cape’s 2011 solo record “Doesn’t Play Well With Others”. The new album will be released through Fat Wreck Chords and Uncle M and is up for pre-order now.
