BIG NEWS! No dates yet for Groezrock 2013, but programmer/festival boss Hans Maes let us know that next year Groezrock will definitely have an Acoustic Stage again! A “definite yes” popped in our e-mail as a response to our question if the Belgian punk/hardcore festival would continue the Acoustic stage, that made it’s debut in 2012.
There has been some shifting in the Groezrock line-up. I Am The Avalanche had to cancel, so Hostage Calm moved into their spot on the Etnies Stage. That meant they aren’t playing an acoustic set anymore, so two slots opened. Curious who Groezrock pulled in for the Fender Acoustic Stage?
This year, Groezrock also has an Acoustic Stage on the festival! Some of the bands/acts that are playing are Yellowcard, Jonah Matranga, Face Tomorrow and Dave Hause. Next to that, North Empire Bookings has organised an Acoustic Punk Meeting on the camping on the day before (27 April). Enough reason for us to talk to Hans Maes, the big boss of Groezrock.
